The SCE300 is an intelligent quarter-turn electric actuator from the Bettis family of actuators. Compact and lightweight, this all-in-one actuator fits all the features of larger, heavier actuators into a neat, innovative design. Deploy the SCE300 to maintain effective control of low-torque, quarter-turn valves and dampers in even the largest and most complex plants.

  • Separate terminal enclosure is kept isolated from the electronics and motor compartment; only the wiring terminal is exposed during field installation
  • Standard adjustable torque switches, from 50 to 100% of rated torque output (3 steps: 50% - 75% - 100%)
  • Manual override is always engaged
  • Anodized aluminum with epoxy powder coat to protect unit against the decaying effects of aggressive environments
  • Visual mechanical position indicator for accurate visual reference of valve position
  • Directly mountable or readily adaptable to other quarter-turn valves
  • Permanently-lubricated, self-locking gear train helps eliminate the need for motor brakes; Epicyclical gearing ensures reliable and smooth operation
  • Mechanical travel stops designed to prevent over-travel during hand wheel or motor operation
  • Over-temperature motor thermostat
  • Integral speed control, independently adjustable in opening and closing directions
  • Latched-type output contacts for fully open / fully closed remote indication. Output contacts for monitor and blinker/local selector indication are also available

The Bettis TorqPlus Electric Actuator employs a unique modular design to allow for simple retrofits using over 200 different accessory kits.

  • Five models with output torques ranging from 100 in-lbs-in to 20,000 in-lbs-in (11 Nm to 2,260Nm)
  • Standard for torques as low as 350 lbs-in through 10,000 lbs-in torques is 100% (none less than 50% in all available motor voltages)
  • Compact design in weatherproof and explosion-proof housings
  • Modular design readily accommodates controls and accessories such as heaters, motor brakes, positioners, transmitters and control stations
  • Permanent lubrication reduces the need for scheduled maintenance

It is designed to provide fail-safe actuation for Emergency Shut Down(ESD) valves. The Bettis Standard EHO provides a straight forward, simple, reliable ESD actuator solution.

  • Utilizes a dependable spring-return actuator for the fail-safe stroke combined with an integral hydraulic power pack and electronic control module
  • Designed as an emergency shutdown actuation solution to stop process flow upon the detection of a command signal or loss of power, protecting personnel, equipment, and the environment
  • Consistently operates in challenging environments, hostile environments, and when power is challenged
  • Over fifteen alerts and alarms to help alert users of abnormalities in the system
  • Can be integrated into systems with existing common communication protocols and DCMLink
